Tammy Abraham Needs Chelsea to Shoot their Champions League”anger” out on Liverpool at Super Sunday’s Enormous Premier League Battle on Sky Sports.
Following Ross Barkley missed a penalty for the side of Frank Lampard, the Blues were beaten 1-0 at home from Valencia in their Group H fixture Tuesday night.
But Abraham – that has surfaced as the first-choice striker for first time of Chelsea this year – immediately looked of Sunday’s match, live on Sky Sports Premier League and and the conquer played down.
“(Sunday) is a test of personality. We could take out our anger from Liverpool,” he explained in Stamford Bridge.
“It’s a huge game and both teams are going to triumph. We’ll look forward to placing (tonight’s defeat) right.
“It’s still early doors (from the Champions League). We are fuming we dropped today. But there is still five games to go – we just have to win our next five.
“We are obviously disappointed. We did not play our very best football. Valencia came and stopped us playing the way so you have to give them credit, we desired.
“We’re likely to have a lot of ups and downs in a year. We have got to move on and not dwell on it”
Abraham is just one of many academy graduates to have been given a chance under Lampard this season and hailed the financing of his team.
“I must give it (my private form) into the team and players,” he said. “I had a small problem against Liverpool where I missed a penalty myself and out there they just encouraged me and believed in me.
“I am playing with these amazing players who make chances, so I just have to be in the ideal place at the right time. It is always great to understand you are believed in by supervisor. Every game you would like to do your very best for him.”
